The Early Childhood Investment Corporation (ECIC) seek to coordinate both public and private efforts to achieve common objectives and measurable results for Michigan's youngest children. PGS encompasses both immediate action and creating a blueprint, or strategic plan, for Michigan's early childhood system of programs, services, and supports for all children from birth to age five.

The Department of Human Services offers a wide range of programs to offer support to families and those working to care for children. DHS also houses the Office of Children and Adult Licensing which guides providers through the licensing process and answers a variety of questions concerning the process.

Michigan Community Coordinated Child Care(4-C's) offers referrals for child care as well as training information.
T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® Michigan offers scholarships to help child care providers complete coursework in earlychildhood education and increase their compensation and commitment to the field.

Early On is a statewide, comprehensive, coordinated interagency system of early intervention services for infants and toddlers birth to age three with disabilities or delays and their families.
